7.0 Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies in several places. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. They are used to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies also enable our systems to recognize your browser and offer you services. Cookies do not contain any personal data. However, it may be possible that a cookie can be assigned to a specific user data set.

Our website uses cookies exclusively in an automated manner. We do not track cookies back to user profiles in order to benefit the user in addition to the above mentioned benefits or to gain personal insights.

You have the option to reject cookies or set up your browser so that you are notified every time our website attempts to set a cookie. However, this may mean that certain services on our website cannot be used or can only be used to a limited extent.

For more information about cookies (including instructions on how to block them), visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org/ge/

8. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with further services related to website activity and Internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.

You can prevent cookies from being saved by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

9. Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

We use the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and conversion tracking as part of Google AdWords. Google Conversion Tracking is a Google analysis service.

When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is stored on your computer. These cookies have limited validity, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification.

If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. There is therefore no way that cookies can be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers.

The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. This tells customers the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by preventing the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly (deactivation option). They will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

Further information and Google's privacy policy can be found at: http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

10. Google DoubleClick

We use Google's DoubleClick function on our website to evaluate the use of the website and to enable us, Google and other advertisers who work with DoubleClick to present user-relevant advertising to you.

For this purpose, a cookie is installed on your computer's hard drive. With the help of this cookie, a pseudonymous identification number is assigned to your browser and information is collected about the advertising displayed in your browser and how it is viewed. The information collected by the cookie about your use of websites is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Based on the information collected, interest-relevant categories are assigned to your browser. These categories are used to place interest-based advertising.

In addition to changing your browser settings, you can also permanently deactivate the DoubleClick cookie using a browser plug-in. With the plug-in, your deactivation settings for this browser are retained, even if you delete all cookies. The browser plug-in for permanent deactivation is available here: (https://support.google.com/ads/answer/7395996).

By using our website, you agree that the DoubleClick cookie is used and that usage data will be collected, stored and used from you in the manner described above for the stated purpose. You also agree that your data is stored in cookies beyond the end of the browser session and can be accessed again, for example, the next time you visit websites. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future by deleting the DoubleClick cookie and permanently deactivating it.

11. Google Maps

We use Google Maps to display interactive maps and to create directions. Google Maps is a map service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA.

By using Google Maps, information about the use of this website, including your IP address and the (start) address entered as part of the route planner function, can be transmitted to Google in the USA.

When you visit a page on our website that contains Google Maps, your browser creates a direct connection with Google's servers. The map content is transmitted by Google directly to your browser and integrated into the website by it. We therefore have no influence on the amount of data collected by Google in this way. According to our knowledge, this is at least the following data:
- the date and time of the visit to the relevant website,
- Internet address or URL of the accessed website,
- IP address, (start) address entered as part of route planning.
We have no influence on the further processing and use of data by Google and can therefore assume no responsibility for this.

If you do not want Google to collect, process or use data about you via our website, you can deactivate JavaScript in your browser settings. In this case, however, you cannot use the map display.

The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Google as well as your related rights and settings options to protect your privacy can be found in Google's privacy policy: (https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de).

By using our website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google Maps Route Planner in the manner described above and for the purposes set out above.

12. Use of YouTube

Our website uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (“YouTube”). If you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plug-in and click on the YouTube video embedded there, a connection to YouTube's servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Further information on the handling of user data can be found in YouTube's privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

13. Using the Trust You Widget

With the Trustscore Widget, this website uses an online reputation management tool to display cumulative guest reviews for the properties offered on this page. The provider of TrustScore Widget is TrustYou, Agnes-Pockels-Bogen 1, 80992 Munich. The use of the Trustscore widget provides users with guidance when choosing suitable accommodation from our online offering.

For more information about the TrustScore Widget, please see TrustYou's Privacy Policy
https://www.trustyou.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/2017-01-19-TY-Privacy-Policy.pdf

14. Transfer of personal data

The transmission of the entered data via forms on our website from your computer to the server is encrypted. The data entered in the contact form is not stored on your computer (no cookie, etc.). Despite encryption, absolute security is not possible. The server will forward your data entered in the contact form via email for processing. These emails are not encrypted. Using email is not technically secure; it may happen that emails are not delivered. When transmitting emails, they can leave national borders, even if the sender and recipient are in Germany. The confidentiality of emails cannot be guaranteed if encryption is missing or insufficient. Unencrypted emails are therefore not suitable for sending confidential information.

By using the forms or sending an e-mail, you agree to communication via e-mail, aware of the risks described.

15. Retention of your personal data

Our website is hosted by Gandi SAS, Paris, France. The servers are located in France, are only physically accessible to Gandi SAS and are shielded as closely as possible against unauthorised access by third parties. Backups are created regularly to avoid data loss as best as possible.

As far as your personal data is concerned, which we collect directly, it is stored on our own local servers. The servers are shielded as closely as possible against unauthorised access. Backups are created regularly to prevent data loss as much as possible.

16. Information, correction

You have the right to obtain free information about your stored data and the right to have it corrected at any time. Please contact us about this. You can find our contact details under section 2 of this privacy policy.

17. Withdrawal and deletion

In the event of a request for deletion, we will block and block your profile. Please note, however, that we are required by commercial and tax law to keep accounting documents for at least 10 financial years. We can therefore neither delete nor edit the personal data contained in these documents. To this extent, your request for deletion is therefore only valid for future processing.

If a contractual relationship is still pending at the time of receipt of your revocation and deletion request, your personal data will continue to be processed until the contract is fully processed. Your revocation under data protection law expressly has no influence on the processing of existing contractual relationships and is not considered an extraordinary reason for termination.

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time and to inform customers about the changes in an appropriate manner.
